When do I pay?
A settled deposit is required prior to commencing a project. This is typically at 25%-50% of the total quotation, depending on the specifications. Payment for larger projects will be broken down into milestone instalments. Our payment terms are 14 days.
How can I pay?
You can pay by bank transfer (BACS), cash or cheque. We can accept all major credit cards via PayPal, but a 3.4% card fee will be added to your bill.
Do you offer fixed prices?
Yes. The price you are quoted will be the price you pay, unless the scope of the brief changes during the project.
Can I pay in monthly instalments?
We appreciate the importance of cashflow, so we are happy to discuss breaking down payments over a number of months if this helps. Just ask at the quoting stage.
What happens if I need to cancel a project?
Firstly, let us know as soon as possible. We will need to charge for any work carried out after we received your approval to proceed, but of course, if we haven’t started then there will be no charge.
Can you take care of everything – logo, brand, print, web and exhibition design?
Yes. From the design of your logo and brand to anything this could be applied to – whether in print or online – we can take care of it all.
What is the process?
In the broadest terms, our projects include an initial design stage, typically two amendment stages and a final proof for sign-off. This process can vary slightly, depending on the nature of the project and additional amendment stages can be quoted upon request..
Do we need to meet?
It’s not essential to meet in person these days as technology allows for projects to be managed via phone, email and Skype, but our door is always open if you’d like to pop in for a cuppa!
Do you write content for websites and printed material?
Yes we do, please just let us know what you require and we can add this to your quote.
I’m in a bit of a hurry, can you turn my job around quickly?
We will do whatever we can to ensure we meet a tight deadline, we’ve been going for over 15 years and we’ve not missed one yet!
What happens if I don’t like the designs you produce?
It is very important to us that you are happy with the work we provide to you. Our briefing process ensures that cases like this are extremely rare, but if for any reason you are not satisfied with the quality of the work, we will revisit the brief with you, check we agree on it and ensure that all problems with the work are resolved.
How quickly will I receive my printed items?
This depends on the size of the run. Commencing approval of the design, large runs (litho printed) typically take five days on average and short runs (digitally printed) can be delivered in as little as 24 hours.
Do I own my domain name?
If you bought your own domain name, you own it. If a domain name has been bought by Pad on your behalf, this is simply to allow us to administer easily for you. We are more than happy to transfer it to a provider of your choice free of charge at any time.
Do I own my website?
In the vast majority of cases, once we have built your site and payment has been made in full, the website is your property.
